The OTV connected sites table applies to both type of configuration whether it is unicast based or multicast based OTV setup. How many sites do you plan to include in the OTV design?

3 sites should be absolutely fine to deploy the unicast OTV design.

I am not sure what exactly you are looking for since a OTV config for 2 sites can be replicated for the 3rd site.
