Feature Activation Requirements when Deploying VxLAN in standlone mode or with MP-BGP L2VPN EVPN

Hello Guys,

When Running VxLAN in standalone mode or with MP-BGP L2VPN EVPN . Is it mandatory to activate "install feature-set virtualization" on Nexus 5600 or any other Nexus Platform ?

I have seen various blogs and Training videos on VxLAN where "install feature-set virtualization" is activated . However, Cisco Documentation on VxLAN does not specify anything of this sort.

"install feature-set virtualization" has a very different use case to that of VxLAN, Hence the confusion.

You do not need "feature-set virtualization" for vxlan. This feature is required for Adapter FEX.
