FEX Straight Thru to FEX vPC Migration is Disruptive?

Hi

This is the scenario: A Nexus 5596UP (5.1(3)N2(1a)) and several FEX2248T connected with Portchannels (Fabric Link non vPC Portchannel) but now I need to create a vPC Domain with a second Nexus 5596UP and connect all FEX in vPC (Fabric Link vPC). There is no  vPC Servers or any other access device (EvPC).

The disruptive time must be as less as posible, so I need some tips to accomplish this, but I'm worried because in my research I have found that the FEX should be rebooted to change the Fabric Link configuration.

Your research is correct, It will be disruptive (~120-180 second) due to FEX reload.

The disruptive time was 30-50 seconds while the fex get offline and the begin with the online sequence.
