Help for Production network upgrade from /24 to /22 network

Hi,

I'm our Datacentre the number of servers is reaching the maximum available from the current network mask /24 and we would like to move to a larger mask, /22, without loosing service. At the moment we have 3 different vlans, service, management and storage, 1 FW, 2 4506 cisco switches and 12 3130x cisco switches.

What's the best way to proceed? create 3 new vlans with the new IPs?

Would you have case studies or examples you can send me?

Changing the subnet mask, would result in also needing to change the default gateway, etc of your entire network/servers, etc. I do not see how you could do this without some downtime.

Are you wanting to take your existing /24 and just move it back to a /22?
