How a HOST accesses ACTIVE/ACTIVE Data Center

Hi,

if I have an 2 ACTIVE/ACTIVE Data Centers with all the storage replicated in both Data Centers, how the hosts on the HQ know which Data Center to go?

1- In case my DCI is Layer 2

2- In case my DCI is Layer 3

Which are the technologies involved in each case so the HOST knows where to go in an ACTIVE/ACTIVE DC?

You many need to consider Virtualalized workload Mobility or LISP
