Hyper Flex 3.0, Upgraded to vCenter 6.7 which is unsupported.

Hello,

We currently have a HX running 3.0 with was deployed with vCenter 6.0. We upgraded our vCenter to 6.7 which is currently not supported on the HX 3.0. ( To be clear basically the old vCenter was deleted and a new vCenter deployed) The hyperflex plugin is no longer functioning. We can't go back to vCenter 6.0 for other business related reasons.

We would like to upgrade the cluster to HX 3.5 which has a plugin that is supported in 6.7. However, that requires a functioning vCenter and active plugin to place the HX environment into maintenance mode. Is there an upgrade path when the plugin is not accessible?

Thank you

Greetings.

There is a manual way to upgrade the various components, but is a lengthy process and would require TAC assistance.

Thanks,

Kirk...
