From the error message, seems you are referring to a N5K vpc rather than N7K.

To check the Type1, you need to check the doc:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/operations/n5k_vpc_ops.html#wp424990

When a mismatch in Type 1 parameters occur, the following applies:

If a graceful consistency check is enabled (default), the primary switch keeps the vPC up while the secondary switch brings it down

If a graceful consistency check is disabled, both peer switches suspend VLANs on the vPC ports.

So adminCfgChange could be the consequece of the Type1 error based on your detail scenario.

You probably need to check the Type 1 mismatch first.

I got that one once when the cablers had stuffed up the labels on the fibres used to link the Nexus7k's to the switch at the other end of the vPC - so I had one leg of the vpc connected to one downline switch, and the second leg (from the second Nexus) connected to a *different* downline switch.

Once I traced the cables and found out that there was, actually, a problem with the connections and got both legs of the vPC into the same downline switch, the vPC came up.
