Does the Nexus 95xx or 93xx support LISP?  If not, is there planned support?

You might want to reach out to LISP support at lisp.cisco.com:

"If you have questions, comments, suggestions, or issues, please contact the Cisco LISP team by sending an email to: lisp-support@cisco.com [lisp-support@cisco.com]"

Hello Pgjorgensen,

At this time LISP is not supported on any Nexus 9000 device. However it is in the roadmap but no upcoming releases have support for it yet.

Thanks,

Victor Hugo Acevedo

Hello Victor Hugo Acevedo

In 23-Apr-2016, you said that LISP is not supported on any Nexus 9000 device. However it is in the roadmap but no upcoming releases have support for it yet.

After more than 3 years, is it supported on Nexus 9300 ?

Regards

How about now, almost 4 years later? :)

Hello Victor,

It's been 6 years since you mentioned LISP being in the roadmap for Nexus 9k.

Do you have any insight, as to when Cisco plans to support it on Nexus 9k?

Thank you,

Michael Antonakis

Hello to all,

FYI, based purely on the Cisco Nexus 9000 Series NX-OS Command Reference, LISP is supported from versions 9.3 and later.
For a guide on how to use LISP for the external connectivity of a VXLAN fabric, there is this guide which is based on Nexus 7k, however the concept is the same:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/pf/configuration/guide/b-pf-configuration/External-Connectivity-LISP.html

Sincerely yours,
Michael Antonakis
