Maximum distance for E1 and E3 (BNC) cables for Cisco module cards

Hi, anyone know the maxiumum cable distance length for E1 cables and also E3 (BNC connectors) cables ?

From what I googled is abou 650 feet and 450 feet respectively.  some mentioned that this is derived from the  ITU-T standards.

 

anyone have any source link/documents to verify ?
