N9K NXOS Standalone Mode PTP

Hi all,

Per default PTPv2 works in NEXUS 9K when is enabled but my device "Standard Dante" only support PTPv1.

Can be enable PTPv1 in CISCO NEXUS 9k? What's the command?

Clocking Notices

AES67 mode on a Dante device enables both IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) v1 and v2. A single clock domain must be created across both PTP v1 and v2 devices:

 Standard Dante devices support PTP v1 only

 AES67-enabled Dante devices support PTP v1 and PTP v2

What Nexus series switch model are you referring to.

Typically you just turn on the feature with “feature ptp” and then that’s it.

Here is good guide around configuring PTP.
