Nexus 5696 vs 6004

Hello

I have two questions.

I don't know what is different between Nexus 5696Q and 6004EF

I think same chassis but not sharing module because of different module product ID

such as N5696-M12Q and N6004-M12Q for 12ports 40G

Another one

I saw nexus 6004x chassis and module on some datasheets 

because I looking for supporting vxlan on nexus 6004 is supported 

but there is no 6004x chassis and N6004x-M12Q on CCW

Please help me and let me know  ASAP

Hi,

Both products are based off the same SW image, however the N5696Q supports 
VXLAN. The Nexus 6004EF does not.
All other LEMs and feature/performance are the same.

There is also a price difference between the 2 products.

N6004X-M20UP is the only 6004 module supported in 5696Q. All other 6004 modules are not
supported in 5696. However 5696 Modules are supported in 6004EF chassis.

About the second question, if you wish vxlan support, you will be fine with the Nexus 5696Q, which meets the same requirements.
