Nexus 7010 Fabric Module Removal

We need to swap Fabric Module 5 with Fabric module 4 in order to determine whether or not the issue is with the Fabric Module or slot (requested by TAC).

I'm wondering is it safe doing so during normal operation ? (Nexus will operate with 3 Fabric Modules for a short period of time during Card replacement. What is the minimum number of Fabric Modules that have to be installed in the chassis at any given time?)

Here is Chassis info: Nexus 7010 NX-OS version 6.2(2a) with 2 x F2E modules (  N7K-F248XP-25E ) and dual Sup (N7K-SUP2E). Currently 5 x Fabric Modules 2 have been installed.

Ehsan,

No need to worry you can remove the fabric from moudle 5 and insert it on 4.

AS you have 5 in total you can do anything with 2 modules.( 3 is min required/recommended for full blown chasis).

But you have only 4 modules in total on 7010 so two Fabric will be okay in worst case that all 3 fabric are down.
