Hi,
We have two Cisco Nexus 7710 with the following HW configuration
Slot 1: N77-F348XP-23
Slot 2: N77--F248XP-23E
Slot 5: N77-SUP2E
When I try to create a LACP portchannel with one port on F3 and another port on F2e I receive this error (when i try to bundle the second port to the channel):
"command failed: port not compatible [Module Type Incompatible]"
I suppose that there is no compatibility between the two modules (F2e and F3). Can you tell me if there is a Cisco Document that explain this? I cannot find it.
Thanks in advance

What is the NX-OS version you are running. You need atleast 6.2.6 to support the inter-operability. Check the release notes below.

It says...
"With Cisco NX-OS Release 6.2(6), you cannot interoperate the F3 Series plus the F2 and/or F2e Series plus the M2 Series modules in the same VDC."
If I've understood well...is not possible to do a LACP etherchannel on two different modules...right?

Have you solved this issue? This is funny, because even on 8.4 software train, without M cards, we cannot do LACP between F2 and F3! This should be possible but no document describes that it is not.
