Hi,
We have an existing v1000 installed on VSphere V4.0 in a datacentre pod on Vcentre. Now we would like to create another V1000 in 2nd DC pod under same Vcentre.
Can we use same control, data VLANS or we do need separete control and data VLAN even doimain-ID is unique.
The existing V1000 in in production and bring the 2nd one, will create any outage?
Regards.

Hello Mohammed,
The same packet/control vlans may be used on multiple N1k deployments as long as the domain-id is unique.

Thanks Matt,
What is the recommended in this case,
1- You may use same control/Data Vlan?
2- You can use differnt , its is good practice

Hello Mohammed,
Best practice would be to use different vlans for control, packet, data. However, I see equal amounts of customers between the two configurations. Both configurations will work as long as domain-id is different.
