Only seeing one sided conversartio whith monitor session on Nexus 7000

I am seeing only one sided conversations with this monitor setup on a Nexus 7000

monitor session 2
  source vlan 68 both
  destination interface Ethernet4/26

My setup is a pair of Nexus 7000 running HSRP for VLAN 68, I'm running this monitor command on the primary HSRP Nexus. Do I need to run this monitor setup on both N7K's at the same time?

Hi Juan,

Is VLAN 68 a vPC VLAN?

If that's the case maybe that's the issue since some traffic is getting hashed to the other vPC peer so that's why you are not seeing it.

If there's a vPC let's say to another switch or server and if you want to monitor the traffic for that particular vPC, then you need to monitor on both switches.

Also, what type of I/O module is being used as the destination interface? Is that an F series or M series?
