OTV configuration with ASR routers

I have scenario where Provider link will be terminated on Cisco ASR 1001-X router (provider hand will Ethernet or fiber). OTV has to configure on the same router. Can OTV  join interface be used for traditional routing also?

Yes it can used for traditional routing as well. Please make sure you read the restriction section to avoid any known caveats listed in the guide.
