OTV on ASR 1000

Hello Guys,

I need help to configure OTV on ASR 1000.

We have one requirement where we need to create Vlan gateway on ASR 1000 and also OTV need to configure to

extend this vlan in another DC ASR 1000.

Hi Dinesh,

It's not really clear as to your starting position. Are you just trying to get an understanding of the subject or do you already understand OTV and have a specific issue?

I presume you've reviewed the Configuring Overlay Transport Virtualization section of the configuration guide?

There are also a number of Tech Notes on the subject including ASR 1000 OTV Unicast Adjacency Server Configuration Example that you would use if you have a unicast only core and ASR 1000 OTV Multicast Configuration Example if you have a multicast enabled core and want to use multicast for traffic replication.
