Dears,
what is the best practice value for MTU of join interfaces that will assure resiliency of OTV traffic over multicast?

Hi,
OTV essentially uses a GRE header for transporting L2 traffic across the WAN. This GRE header is 42 bytes in size. In an ideal network deployment, the WAN link will have a maximum transmission unit (MTU) that is at least 42 bytes larger than the largest packet that OTV is expected to handle.

Dear Manish,
I know this point but i am looking for someone who deployed OTV in live network and need to know the best practice value for MTU..
Thanks for your post :)
