We have 2 racks deployed in traditional hot/cold aisle placement like so
cold | rack | warm | rack | cold
With the fronts facing the cold aisle. I have 6509-V-E (front to back cooling) I need to place in the middle of row and not sure whether it makes sense to deploy like the other servers where intake faces cold. If I do that then the switchport side of the chassis is facing the cold whereas the server and patch panels from the other racks are facing the rear/warm. How are these chassis typically deployed?
