On a Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switch, is there a timeout for POAP's DHCP Discover Phase? In other words, will the switch retry DHCP Discovery indefinitely in POAP if it couldn't receive any DHCP Offers, or will it abort POAP after retrying DHCP Discovery after certain amount of time?

The POAP process can only stop if it's successful, or you cancel it by responding to that well known initial question.
Here is a POAP Process graphic:
If your switch doesn't have a startup and you do nothing, you will be stuck in a No -> No -> No -> No loop.
Stay safe,
