Vcenter manadatory for Hyperflex?

Simple Question:  After arguing with all our data center folks about what vcenter we are going to use I ask myself a question..do I need vcenter?..I know we can install a nested vcenter and did that.... but it is not recommended..but that seems to tell me I can just do the Hyperflex installer without entering the vcenter commands.. and just manage the servers independently and put vm's on them..so the question is 1.  Is it just "best practice" to use vcenter?

2.  Any gotchas are things to worry about?  It is only a standard 3 node cluster to run about 10 VMs on it... so I am now wondering if we can just live without the vcenter part.. seems like we can... and just manage the nodes independently.. what do you think?

Thanks, Mike

vSphere suite gets more advantages like many -  but if you can able to manage them using VMware sphere client your choice.
