2621 router crashes with copy and pasting firewall rules

Hi,

Lately my router crashes everytime I try to make a change on the firewall

using copy and paste. I'm running IOS 12.2(7) with built-in firewall software.

For example, I tried to add 2 lines of rules to the firewall config and I copied

it from a notepad instead of typing them and the router crashed immedialtely.

This started to happen recently and it's been working for 2 years with no problems.

Please let me know if any one has any ideas and how to prevent it.

Crashes caused by commands being pasted into a terminal window tend to be IOS bugs. Did this behavior begin after you upgraded to 12.2(7)?
