I am having trouble accessing my 2924 switches through HTTP. I am using windows 2000 and internet explorer and have installed the java application needed. I am asked over and over again to enter a username and password while the graphics are loading. Any ideas?
Thanks.

What username and password are you entering?
According to the instructions:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/c2900xl/29_35wc5/scg/swcms.htm
When prompted for a username and password, enter only the switch enable password. CMS prompts you a second time for a username and password. Enter only the enable password again.
If you configure a local username and password, make sure you enable it by using the ip http authentication global configuration command. Enter your username and password when prompted.
hope this helps,

Also, make sure the browser you are using is supported. You can verify that in the release-notes of the software running on the catalyst at the following URL:

Refer to the section 'Web Interface Keeps Asking Username and Password' at:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/59.html#webinterface for details on this.
I suspect that you're running into the defect CSCdv87375 listed in the above URL in the section 'Web Interface Keeps Asking Username and Password'
