2950 switches get stuck

Hi

Lately we see a problem with some of our 2950 switches.

The switches get stuck, all the connected ports are lighten with constant light, althogh the machines generate traffic the light are not blinking.

the switches running with IOS version 12.1(19)EA1c

The only solution to this problem is to reboot it.

can someone give me a clue how to truobleshoot this problem.

is there any traffic passing between the attached devices when this occurs ? If so, the following bug might apply:

Utilization LED not display according to documentation

Defect description:

The LED in the utilization mode does not display according to the Hardware

Installation Guide.

Symptons:

There is not much difference in the LED utilization display when the traffic

being switched on a C2950 has increased or decreased significantly.

Assessment of the impact:

The symptom is minimal as it does not affect the functionality of the box.

Workaround:

The workaround is to upgrade the image to the 12.1(11)EA1 release.

Description of the expected behavior:

The LED in the utilization mode should display the bandwidth utilization of

the switch according to the Hardware Installation Guide
