The problem is the IBM 5494 Remote Control Unit can no longer connect to the AS/400 at our remote site.

This problem started after changing the connect on our (3) 3900 series token switch stacks.

The old config on the switch stacks was:

**************

**3900 Stack**(VTP Domain: Cisco A / VTP Mode:Client)

***************

|

| (Fiber Uplink)

|

**************

**3900 Stack**(VTP Domain: No domain defined / VTP Mode: Transparent)

***************

|

| (Fiber Uplink)

|

**************

**3900 Stack**(VTP Domain: Cisco A / VTP Mode:Client)

***************

The router was not changed at all. The only change was made on that middle switch stack.

Do you guys have any ideas???? Please let me know..

Check the VTP configuration revision number and see if the new server has overwritten any of the previously available vlans.
