4507R with dual Sups - 4 active GBICs?

In a 4507R with a SUP-IV active and another SUP-IV running as a redundant SUP, are all four GBICs active like they are in a 6509?

No. Due to the backplane connections with dual Supervisor IV's only ports 1/1 and 2/1 are active. If a supervisor fails (or is removed) then the other port will become active. I think if you try to configure them the OS tells you they are redundant ports only.
