6500 RAM upgrade??

I have a 6509 that is running an all IOS load of 12.1. I want to upgrade to 12.2 but the page says I need 256M RAM. So here is the question. Which RAM has to be 256M? I believe I have 128M on the MSFC2 and 128M on the SUP2. Does this count as 256? If I want to upgrade, which card or both, do I have to get RAM for?

Hi Greg,

in the Release Notes you can identify the memory reqquirements:

It seems so. that in your case, you should upgrade the MSFC
