There is no support for broadcast or multicast storm control on the WS-X6548-GE-TX module. This feature is one that is implemented by the port ASIC on linecards that support it, but the feature was not implemented for the port ASIC used by this line card as well as the WS-X6148-GE-TX. Unfortunately, this limitation precludes any sort of storm control on the linecard. Check out the following link for more information :
