7206 vxr "interface is up, line protocol is down(looped)'

I have 2 DS'3 (channelized) coming into this box. no one changed anything on the router but with a remote site outage complaint, I called the telco and they fixed their problem,tested this DS-1 on this DS3 and ever since I've been showing an amber alarm and this trouble ""interface is up, line protocol is down(looped)"

The telco confirmed that they did not leave their loop up....HELP!!! I've restarted the interface etc. but nothing happens.

They probably did leave it looped, and are just lying to you.

Either that or the remote site might be looped for some reason. Maybe the admin over in the other office was trying to troubleshoot and he left the line looped over there.
