We want to connect another companys 887 router into a 888 via the switch ports on both as we can apply our own HSRP, PBR and ACL policies to it. Will it do layer 3 via the switch ports. if i connect them together then i can forward to the lan layer 2 switch( the 877 is a managed router for the circuit not provided by us)
