I'm currently orientating which cisco product would suit our needs best, let me explain what we want/need:
We need a firwall/router that allows us to do:
- URL Filtering/Application filter (user/group based, active directory preffered)
- Schedule a filter to allow certain site to be visited between for example 1pm and 2pm
- Bandwidth control
- Firewall functionallity
- Usage reports (per user/group/device?)
We have around 70 users in the main office and 10 users in another office. They will be connected with a site-to-site VPN, we have been adviced to take a seperate device for this task , we are thinking about using a Cisco ASA5505/ASA5515 for this and for the site-to-site VPN a Cisco 1905.
How do you guys think about this, would it be possible to do all this on 1 device or do we better split the load over this 2 devices.
In the near future we will add 2 more offices to the VPN Tunnel.
Conclusion: What device or devices can we best use for this, any sugestion or advice is welcome !
