AS5300 / 12.2(2)XB10 memory leaks

Are there any know memory leak problem with the AS5300 and ISO 12.2(2)XB10?

I upgraded from XB6 to XB10 hoping to solve the problem, but it seems to persist. After about one month the Processor memory is used up and the AS5300 stops responding to anything... only a reload/reboot helps.

We are running the enterprice plus version, with only 64 MB memory (a problem=??), but after a reboot we have about 10 MB free memory, which slowly decreases to ... about nothing.

Hi, there are no open caveats specific to Cisco IOS Release 12.2(2) XB10

as mentioned in the release notes. But both the XB6 and XB10 Enterprise

Plus feature set recommended a minimum of 128MB of DRAM.

Upgrading the DRAM might help in resolving the problem.

It is also recommended to review the release notes first prior to upgrade.

Here's the link for the release notes:

Goodluck.

Here is the best url which explains how to troubleshoot memory problems

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/63/mallocfail.shtml

Now 64MB is about the half of the requirement. XB10 entreprise plus featureset requires atleast 128MB as DRAM. Pl. check the memory requirement at following url

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/Iosplanner/Planner-tool/iosplanner.cgi

Launch the IOS Upgrade Planner and make the selection accordingly.

There should not be any issue once you have 128MB DRAM on AS5300. Even if the problem continues after that, pl. follow the above link for troubleshooting.
