We are currently attempting to an Async Server via a remote unit talking to the AS via configured ports , through a patch panel. The remote unit has DB9 ports which would connect to the patch panel which in turn connects to the AS
remote unit --- patch panel --- AS Server
We are struggling to get "prompt" from the AS, we have proved that a rollover cable works perfect to the Console of the AS from our unit, but it when connecting via the patch panel we are getting nothing.
has anyone done this in the past or is anyone aware of the pin output of the AS ports to allow us to build a custom shell head (or even better know the pin outputs for a custom shell head to allow this!)
