backup frame relay subinterface

Hi

can i backup FR subinterface with X25 subinterface with the command backup interface ?

it work with X25 interface but with X25 subinterface the router don't accept the command, i don't know if it's a bug or this feature not exist.

Since the backup interface will put the whole interface into standby mode and bring down the layer1/layer2 which should be done at the physical interface level, I think you will not be able to use sub-interfaces for backup. This might be true even for Frame-relay and ATM other than X.25 . See if you can use other backup mechanisms like floating static.
