BGP on a non-directly connected router

Got a strange scenario here, got 3 routers, all running BGP & eigrp.

Router A is the Client router, router B is the Direcly connected router (using ATM) and acting as an international gateway as well. Router C is acting as a BGP peering point.

What is the best way to establish BGP betwwen router A & C taking in consideration that i don't want the traffic from router A to pass via C on its way to reach destination not within my network ?

It might be an easy case but i'm into a blocked way right now.

How about using a GRE tunnel between A and C and run BGP over the tunnel?

You can also encrypt the tunnel if needed.
