Hi everybody,
I had the message below when I reboot my catalyst 6500 sup720 version 12.2.18SXD:
!!!!!!!!!!!!
Logging of %SNMP-3-AUTHFAIL is enabled
!
%OSPF: Warning: The password/key will be truncated to 16 characters
%OSPF: Warning: The password/key will be truncated to 16 characters
%OSPF: Warning: The password/key will be truncated to 16 characters
!!!!!!!!!
I used md5 authentification (on all the areas OSPF) on OSPF with a key smaller than 16 characters.
Have any some idea ?
Thanks.
chris.

There is an internal bug for this issue in which is duplicated by the following bug
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCed88768
Fix will be in the next 12.2(18)SXD release

Thank you very much.
After the bug, this problem hapened only when we have a config and after we upgrade the sup720.
For my part, the have upgraded the sup720 to the version 12.2.18SXD before and only after i made the configuration and after that i reboot the ssup.
regards.
Chris.
