I have this scenarion cisco router with two hubs, each hub belong to one LAN, LAN1 and LAN2.
1- When any PC on the LAN1 tries to send
broadcast, within its LAN, does the IP and MAC both of them will be converted to broadcast addresses, or only IP (host portion will be all 1s)?
2- When computer (not human) uses broadcast, usullay to locate a specific device or service, (DNS Server, DHCP Server),and this is the purpose of broadcast.
Is there any case we have (not the computor) to use broadcast address?
Thanks

The broadcast Internet address (the address on that network with a host part of all binary ones) should be mapped to the broadcast Ethernet address (of all binary ones, FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF hex).

Hope this helps.
