Burst size

Hi,

When using the "set qos policer " command in cat 6500 series,what is the best burst size that can be specificed,is it half the rate and erate value..

Burst size can be 1 Kb to 32 Mb. I am unsure what you mean by best though. If you mean best for your environment, then some analysis of data flows and your desired end state would be needed to determine. Here is a link showing details of the "set qos policer" command.
