Can a router with AC power be supplied by a DC source ?

Custumer have in the environment a ELTEK 125 VDC supply voltage and wants to use a ASR920 with a AC power supply (100VAC - 220VAC), is this work in the specifications ? Will this work ? Is there a problem with warranty ?

        - It can only work if it has a DC power supply (too).

Hi M. , thanks, but it is not true, any AC power supply has a rectifier in
the input that convert the input voltage RMS to some kind off DC input
with a great ripple, only after the converter that we have the final DC.
The point is, if we have enough DC input we can supply a AC power supply,
but this input DC value has a minimum, and I want to know which one value
is this minimum.

No you can not, But you can have converted DC to AC and connect if you like to use.

I have done some DC to AC converter as long as you get AC output, Router not mind here.

Do i miss anything ?
