Can frame-relay have input QoS?

Hi All,

I know that frame-relay can have many queuing method, but queuing is traffic-shaping method, so it just can control output traffic. But can frame-relay have traffic-engineering, so that it can also have input traffic QoS (like rate-limit CAR command)? Did any body have used input traffic QoS like CAR input command in frame-relay? Thank You!

Yes this is supported. Here is a URL on DTS (Distributed Traffic Shaping) which can be applied on an input ptp frame relay interface. This normally requires VIPs and DCEF to function.
