Cat 6000 and 720 sup engine

How do we get the MSFC3 to be seen by the switch?

Doing a show mod shows the sup eng but not the MSFC. In

the older sup 1 you could get to the MSFC with the

sessions comand. Doing session command with sup 720 we

get "module not installed". Thoughts anyone ?

Your MSFC3 may be on ROMMON. Connect a terminal on the console port and do the following:

"switch console"

that should take you to the ROMMON prompt. From there issue the "boot" command and that should get you going.
