Cisco 7500 and Catalyst5500 connection

Hi,

We are trying to connect Cisco7500(using GEIP) to Catalyst5500(WS-U5534-GESX).

Connection looks ok from Catalyst5500(connected, full and 1000), however, it doesn't look that good from Cisco7500(GigabitEthernet4/1/0 is down, line protocol is down).

Could anyone please shed a light on this issue?

It was a faulty WS-U5534-GESX.
