cisco Switch 9300 Series HSRP

HI guys

i buy a new switch from Cisco with the model and firmware Version

C9300L-48T-4G

SW Version: 16.12.4

SW Image: CAT9K_IOSXE

i try to used standby ip for Enable HSRP but the command it no exists!

I read for the document about this model of the switch should be supported by this version

please can you anyone advise me if any kinds of configuring steps needed to enable the HSRP

You need Network Advantage license for HSRP

check what License you have.

i checked i have : 9300L Cisco DNA Essentials , 48 port license

and how can i upgrade the license

Hi All, was stuck with a similar scenario customer ordered kit with essential licence, was able to active athe Network Advantage via CLI, apply command below, then save config and then reload

switch(config)#license boot level network-advantage

write

reload

It helped in my case. Thank you.

Use "hsrp" instead of "standby". The rest of the configs should be the same.
