Cisco Works LMS4 how to reduce alarms

Hi all, I have a problem with a new installation of LMS4, I receive too much alarms and I need to reduce o compact this alarms.

For example, when device is unreachable, I don`t want receive alarms for device, interface,etc. I need to receive a single event.

Can you help me?

Hi,

You could start by navigating to Admin > Network > Notification and Action Settings > Event Sets

From there you can create a set that encompasses the parameters you want. Then navigate to Admin > Network > Notification and Action Settings > Fault Notification Group

NOTE:    If a subscription is monitoring all events on a device (by not using an event set), and another subscription is monitoring only specific events on a device, you will receive duplicate notifications.
