cleaning 6509-v-e front air intake grill

Hi,

I found no document or reference guide that shows how to perform the proper maintenance/cleaning of the 6509-v-e air intake front grille (just above the power supplies).

My questions are:

1 - They can be cleaned or must be replaced?

2 - I need to remove them to clean?

2 - Can I remove them with system powered, or should I turn off the switch?

Thank you!

They can be removed and cleaned.  Do not immerse in water.  Just get a vacuum cleaner to remove the dirt, turn filter around and blow air the other way.

It's up to you (and how dusty your environment is).  We'd leave them running.  Just don't remove them simultaneously.
