CLOCKING OTPIONS ON T-1 LINKS on T1 CSU DSU CARDS

When one orders a pure point to point T-1 link in the USA from AT&T, AT&T (according to their tech support desk does not provide network clock)--

and it connects to say Cisco 2600 routers with

an internal CSU-DSU card on a WIC...--

what clocking options must be set at each end in order for this to synch up correctly?

It appears that one end must be INTERNAL while the

other end must be LINE. Is this correct?

I thank you all in advance who reply.

Full pt to pt t1 needs to be set with one clock source. Typically speaking, a good general practice would be to set the clock to internal at your main site WIC card, and loop/line/network timing be left at default for the remote. The Telco's do not supply a clock source to full T1.
