Creating a monitor session

I'm trying to capture data from a vlan on my network by using the monitoring command

monitor session 1 source vlan 999 rx

monitor session 1 destination interface Fa0/1

my problem is, when I set the destination int I can no longer access this server via rdp connection. How can I capture this traffic and still have access to this server without having to use the second nic.

Hi,

Span destination ports do not support ingress traffic, so you'll have to use the second NIC to manager the server.
