Ctrl Break using Compaq notebook??

Firstly, i spologize for everyone..

I know but i can't find where is board about this kind of question...:)

Now, I'm using Compaq Presario 2851AP.

Using this, I can't give Ctrl Break signal so never get Rom Monitor of router..

If anybody use Presario 2800 or something and know how, let me know that.

Try holding down the Function (Fn) key first and then doing a Ctrl Break

If you're using the version of Hyperterminal that came standard with the operating system, that might be your problem. Try upgrading to Hyperterminal Private Edition and see if that works.
