CW2000 on UNIX dual CPU system

Hei

I have installed CiscoWorks 5th Edition on a UNIX system with dual CPU and I did not get any errors but there are several functions that I cant run. I think that I somewhere for long time ago saw a guideline how to do such a installation on a dual CPU system but I cant remember where.

I would be very pleased if any one please could help me.

Thanks in advance

Flemming

Did you looked at the install log to see if it's clean?. What exactly is not working?. Is this Solaris 8?

I have CW2000 on dual CPU and quad CPU Sun machines, I didn't follow any special procedures, except that on the 420R there was a problem with a script that was looking for processor 0 and a dual processor 420R doesn't have a processor 0 (it has a processer 1 & 2). But this was a rather obvious problem causing the install to die without completeing - although if I recall correctly it didn't give an error message, it just died. Check psrinfo and if it doesn't list a processor 0 that might be the problem.

You problem sounds like CSCdx87041 which has a workaround and is fixed in the latest version as well.

Hi

Thanks for your help. The problem were the script as you said.

Kind regards
