Does anyone know what command/s can I use to see/debug VTP messages? This question is applicable to all Cisco platforms including routers, native IOS switches and CatIOS switches. Thanks in advance for your answer.

There's a command "debug sw-vlan vtp" on Catalyst
2950, 4000, and 6000 running IOS. The command can
also be used on Cisco 7600 Internet routers.
For CatOS, the tools you might use are show vtp,
show vlan, and show trunk commands.
The following link might help:

For other routers used for inter-VLAN routing,
the command "debug vlan packet" can be used to
check for packets that the router has received
but is having some problems handling.
Hope this info helps.

debug sw-vlan vtp will also work on the 3550 and cat2900XL/3500XL.
You cannot debug VTP on routers.
